Title: Sport Concussion

Brief CV: Dr. Farng-Yang Foo received his medical degree, neurology residency, and electrophysiology fellowship at New York University School of Medicine.  He is currently a clinical assistant professor of neurology at New York University School of Medicine.   In addition to his general neurology practice, he is also a member of Concussion Center at NYU Langone.

Objectives:

1. To understand the variable clinical presentation of concussion
2. To discuss difficulty in defining and diagnosing concussion
3. To discuss current thinking in treatment of concussion.

 

 

Summary of the talk:Dr. Foo will be discussing the scope of concussion.  He will discuss the current difficulties in defining and the diagnosis concussion.  He will discuss the different treatment modalities for concussion
